IN-BETWEEN

In-between
unheard, unseen.
Fighting for your right to scream,
fighting for your right to dream.
In-between,
unheard unseen.
"The quiet ones are always the worst",
my Aunty gabbled, my Mother cursed.
Out side I heard my siblings play,
inside I felt I'd died that day.
In-between,
unheard unseen.
